Wow only place that's always got foot traffic food is delicious and the old lady is so sweet smells DELICIOUS tastes even better

It's a generally okay place if you're not too fussy. And prices are very reasonable for this area. Selections are typical - rice bowls, bento boxes, soups. Service was painstakingly slow. We arrived a little after noon and waited 45 minutes for the food. Don't come "hangry".Oh and this place is takeaways only, since there are no tables. It's too small and cramped anyway that you won't feel comfortable eating in. You can head to San Mateo's central park just a block away if you need a place to eat.
